This unique oil is steam distilled from the flower. The word ?helichrysum? is named for the golden yellow flowers of the plant, and comes from the Greek words ?helios? meaning ?sun? and ?chrysos? meaning ?gold?. The common name, ?immortelle?, also comes from the flowers, because they are long lasting blossoms that last longer than most flowers
Being anti—allergenic, antibacterial, anti—inflammatory, antimicrobial makes it the perfect oil for people with sensitive allergies or who are easily susceptible to infection.
