Aroma: Citrus—like, fresh, tangy
Like most citrus fruits grapefruit is high in Vitamin C, and all parts of the fruit is used in the culinary industry for different reasons. The oil is used in the fragrance industry, and medicinally it has been used as a stimulant and antidepressant. Because of it?s antibacterial, antiseptic, and stimulant properties it can be used to ward off infections as well as improve mood.
Skin benefits include clearing acne, cellulite, oily hair and skin, and tones the skin and tissues, alleviating water retention. To help with fatigue, stress, or exhaustion this oil may be diffused into the air, or added to a salve which can be applied to the temples and nape of the neck.
