Native Americans used roses to cure venereal disease, coughs, sores, stomach and liver disorders. Used to cool, calm the nerves, relieve anxiety, promote sleep, uplift moods, improve mental clarity, meditate, and soothe irritated or sensitive skin.
Today the rose scent, primarily synthetic, is found in 90% of women's fragrances. It is effective in treating hangovers, irregular menstruation, painful periods, impotence, frigidity, depression, insomnia, migraine, nervous tension, PMS, menopause, apathy. Rose absolute infuses the energy body with light and love. Although the scent is very sweet and delicate, this is powerful oil in high doses and should not be used unless you have spiritual guidance.

Sometimes used as an antidepressant, this antiviral and antiseptic oil is known for being very unique and strong smelling as well as being safe to put on bruises. Because this oil is solvent extracted, we do not recommend it for therapeutic use. This absolute is very strong and should only be used with carrier oil or mixed into a salve. In the fragrance industry rose absolute is considered a good rounding agent in a blend. Avoid direct skin contact while it?s in its pure form.
